STREET HEART

Somewhere in Berlin on the 25th of April, city artists threw paint in front of the lights, so the cars, bicycles, pedestrians and so on were transformed into paint-brushes.

BEAUTIFUL ALTERNATIVE ART!

Afterward the city artists put posters up saying that the paint is biodegradable, washable and organic. Gotta love the environment

POST-MODERNISTIC

I've been thinking about this post from Slutever the last couple of days. To explain it in Karley's own words:

"Over the past three months, she (red; her friend Mavi) collected more than 5,000 images and screen grabs from the Facebook profiles of people all over the world, most of whom she doesn’t know. (...) She then took these idealized images of youth and printed them on t-shirts, made them into popstar-esque posters, and framed them as if they were her own. The result of her obsession is something both beautiful and creepy, depending on how you look at it."

H&M ETNO

Elin Kling wearing a nice top from H&M. After seeing these pictures and this video, I knew I wanted it. So yesterday I went to the local mall and saw it in the window - it was only 40 dkk. After searching through the whole store and asking 5 different salespersons (and one of them twice) the last one told me it was sold out! Bummer. But it had an happy ending:

Today I had some errands to run in the city center, and went to the H&M there. And there it was - just waiting for me. Loads were hanging on a clothing rack, so I bought it along with 2 bikinis.

The bikinis were also 40 dkk - very cheap, very nice.
